Step 3: Prioritize Worship
Worship throughout the week with music from the Living Hope Worship Team!
Hebrews 10:24-25
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Call to Worship
- Come early to talk with people and be in your seat ready for the start of service
- Transition from all the busyness of your week to focus this hour on God
Worship Songs
- âMan looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heartâ (1 Sam 16:7)
- It doesnât matter how well you sing, but what your heart focuses on when you sing
- When we sing songs to music, we internalize the lyrics more deeply than we realize
- Singing songs with others releases endorphins and bonds us together as a church
- Singing songs bonds us with God and changes our focus
- You are free to raise your hands or not, there is no one way to worship.
Prayer/Announcements/Offering
- Pray silently along with the Pastoral Prayer. It connects us as a church bringing the same prayer up to God.
- We learn and celebrate what God is doing in our church during announcements
- We take a moment to be grateful for all God has given us in the offering.
Sermon
- Read the text before coming (sent out in Friday Newsletter)
- Pray and ask God to speak to you through the message
- Have the text in front of you as you listen to the sermon
- Take notes during the sermon or write down your takeaways afterwards
- Have one takeaway you pray about throughout the week
Communion (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
- We celebrate Communion every 1st Sunday of the month
- If you have a conflict with someone in the church, take time to talk to them to work to resolve the conflict the week before we take communion.
- Prepare your heart by asking God to show you your sins and thanking God for forgiving each one. Donât let your sin stop you from taking communion, let it lead you to thankfulness that Jesus died on the cross to forgive each sin and still loves you!
- We take a benevolence offering after ever Communion that goes to help members in our church who are struggling financially.
Takeaway: Living Hope Partners come to worship as often as we can!
